My wife and I love going to Mama's Brick Oven Pizza and Pasta in South Pasadena. This place consistently delivers high-quality food in a clean, welcoming environment with friendly staff who make every visit enjoyable. The menu offers a great variety of specialty pizzas, but one of the things I love most is the flexibility to create your own pizza. I'm a big fan of the Meat Lovers, while my wife always enjoys the Veggie Pizza. No matter what we order, the food always arrives super hot, which is a huge plus for me. They also have a solid selection of beers on tap. We've tried them a couple of times, and they're always fresh and delicious, adding a nice touch to the meal. Another convenience is the free parking in the back, with a rear entrance directly into the restaurant, making it easy to access even on busier nights. On top of all that, the prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for a casual yet satisfying meal. Overall, Mama's is a place we keep coming back to, and we're already looking forward to our next visit!

We ordered an XL pizza, half Meat Manhattan Meatlovers Pizza Spinach and half Chicken Alfredo Pizza, perfect to feed 4 -5 hungry people. LOVE the thin crust. Ordered a side of extra marinara to dip. We ordered to-go, but I'd suggest eating there to enjoy it while it's hot and fresh! Staff were also super friendly and nice

My absolute FAVORITE pizza place in the 626! I have never had a bad slice here and always introduce people to Mamma's. My personal favorite is their margherita (so yummy and garlicky). I also love having group outings here because there are plenty of tables, tvs, and a self-pour ipa/seltzer wall. I love being able to pour my own drink so I don't have to commit to an entire glass of one thing and make myself a flight The staff is great, super kind and cool. Parking is not too bad, the lot is small but there's plenty of street parking! Also, the pizzas travel well and they come in huge sizes so I always bring them to parties!

Fun spot for pizza and pasta! I had the 10-inch pizza and chicken piccata pasta, which came with garlic knots. The chicken piccata was very lemony, and the pizza tasted fresh and delicious. They offer free parking in the back, and restrooms are available.

Mama's Brick Oven Pizza and Pasta has quickly become a new favorite. The spacious seating and friendly staff create a welcoming atmosphere. The meat lovers pizza was delicious, with a perfectly crunchy crust. While the chicken piccata was a bit too tangy for my taste, the garlic knots were good. The pour-your-own beer concept is a unique and fun touch. Looking forward to my next visit!

This is a review for the personal sized brick oven special pizza ordered with delivery. Delivery was about 30 min and napkins/plates and extra parmesan packets were packed. The pizza had a gently crisp bottom and crust and wasn't too oily. They were generous on the cheese as it had a cheese pull. The meats weren't too salty and complimented the pizza well. I personally love a saucy pizza so I felt that it would taste even better with more tomato sauce. With some bites, there were no sauce so it felt like eating cheesy bread. Overall, the pizza was good but not the best I have eaten.

This is a very popular neighborhood spot that is always packed with dine in and take out orders. I used to stop in and grab a slice here and there, at their old location and current location. Recently I stop by and they were out of most slices. The staff there suggested I order a small personal size which would be equivalent to about two slices. I ordered their house specialty which has various meats, mushrooms and onions. They obviously baked it fresh to order. It was a fairly long wait but clearly worth every minute. I didn't realize how great it tastes just out of the oven. It was just steaming and bubbling over. This is one of the few times I actually ate the crust. And for me it felt like more than two slices. It lasted me more than two meals.

My favorite pizza place not only in Pasadena, but favorite overall. (I am someone that prefers thin NY style so keep that in mind) So this place is just perfect the Margarita pizza is simple, but the sauce is flavorful the bread is crispy and not bland. There is also a huge selection of drinks and I love that you can buy items by the slice. The staff is also really friendly so definitely would come back and recommend to visit if you like NY style pizza :)
